Fairview-Riverside State Park, LA
For the overnight visitor, Fairview-Riverside offers 81 camping sites, all with electricity and water hook-ups. A nearby comfort station and dump station are provided. The park also provides a tent camping area with comfort station access. This camping area is a favorite of groups who want to camp together under the stars. Rules Pets are not allowed in any buildings, including cabins and lodges. Please be prepared to pay the balance of your facility rental fee upon your arrival at the park. Reservations for overnight facilities are held until check-out time the day after your scheduled arrival. Early departures will be treated as cancellations. Pavilions and meeting rooms are accessible during operating hours. Golden Age/Golden Access Passport holders must present a valid card at check-in. Persons who rent park facilities can be held responsible for any damage done to those facilities. All park buildings are smoke free environments including cabins and lodges. Cabins and Lodges are furnished with basic kitchen utensils, pots, and bed linens and pillows. Please bring your own towels, soap products, etc. Group Camps are furnished with pots, basic kitchen utensils and bunk-beds. Please bring your own pillows, bed linens, towels, soap products, etc. A maximum stay of 15 consecutive days is allowed in the park. Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance. If you are reserving a cabin, lodge or group camp 10 months or more in advance of the arrival date and your stay is for 5 days or more, this reservation will adhere to the following: This reservation must be paid in full no later than 30 days after the reservation is made. If you call the reservation center to drop off any days, you will be charged $50 per day for cabins and $100 per day for group camps for each day you drop. The cancellation fee for this reservation will be one days rental. Getting there
Located 2 miles east of Madisonville in St. Tammany Parish on LA 22. From New Orleans: Cross Lake Pontchartrain on the causeway, take Hwy 22 west. The park is 4 miles west on 22 on the right. From Baton Rouge: Take I-12 east to exit 57, turn right after exit. This is 1077. Follow 1077 to Hwy 22, left on 22. Park is one mile over bridge on left. (Approx. 5 miles after exiting I-12.) From Slidell: Take I-12 west, exit #63A. Go south on 190 after exit, then take Hwy 22 west. Park is 4 miles on the right. (Approx. 7 miles from I-12 exit.)
